Vegan Shoes, All Proceeds to Charity!

I know I post about ShoeDazzle a lot, but this company is definitely one of my favorite vegan companies! As a self-proclaimed shoe hoarder, this site is both good and bad for me, as each month they get more of my money (bad), but I end up with super comfortable, sexy shoes that my entire office asks about...yes, they are really that cute (good)! I have not yet been disappointed with a single pair of shoes from them. They are all so comfortable, and 100% vegan. Now, occasionally, they will carry a shoe that they did not make, but they will specify that it is not the ShoeDazzle brand, and will tell you exactly what they are made of. So far, I have only seen one shoe from another vendor on their site that was not 100% vegan. But, if you are ever unsure, you can always call their CS support, and they will definitely help you out. Once, they had a Michael Antonio shoe on their site for sale, and I called to see if it was, like their own brand, 100% vegan. The person I spoke with couldn't tell me, but took my phone number. Within 5 minutes, I got a call back letting me know that the glue of the shoe was not vegan. But hey, at least they were honest, and looked into it, instead of giving me a quick, fake answer! She also said she would notify the buyers to make sure that those things didn't occur again. So they really do try to be as animal-friendly as possible!

Sexy, Sassy, Vegan Shoes!!

I’m writing this as I anxiously await notification that my latest delivery has arrived. Having moved from Los Angeles to Madison, I had prepared myself to have a hard time finding good vegan food, restaurants, groceries, etc., but have been pleasantly surprised since being here at the abundance of it in this area. The one thing I do miss though, is (insert witty L.A. stereotype here) shopping!! Shopping has always been something that I love to do, and well, no offense Madison, but you’re not really known for your fashion! After moving here, I went 5 months before purchasing a new pair of shoes, which I am pretty sure is some kind of record for me, because, even after scouring nearly every shoe store in Madison, I found NOTHING that was currently cute or trendy! Call me superficial all you want, but this girl loves her shoes!!


Well, my mother turned me on to this amazing website. It’s basically like a “shoe of the month” club! It’s $39 a month (but you only pay this on the months that you want something…if you don’t get anything for 6 months, you don’t pay the money for those months…you’re not locked into anything!). Now, when my mom told me about the site, my first response was “are the shoes vegan?” She said she was unsure, but because of the low price, was pretty sure they didn’t use any real leather or anything. But, before I started a membership, I emailed the company. I had an email response within an HOUR! Talk about customer satisfaction! Their response was “all of the shoes constructed with man-made materials and therefore vegan.” Yay! So, I signed up, took their “fashion quiz” (this gives them an idea of the styles of clothing you like, so they know what kinds of shoes you’d like to see each month) and the next day, had tons of amazing shoes and bags to pick from! Now remember, every single thing is only $39…and this includes shipping! Plus, if you get something and it doesn’t fit, or you don’t like it anymore, you get free shipping back to them! They will either send you a different size (if that’s what you want) or give you a credit which you can use on anything else, whenever you want!


Now, let me just say, the shoes are not only cute and vegan (which, cute vegan shoes are hard to find anywhere!), but they are super comfortable, too! Every time I wear a pair, I get stopped all through the halls at work and on the street, people complimenting me on my shoes. Shoutout to Tom's Shoes!!

So yesterday was a very sad day for me. I’m a mini-hoarder, you may say. To me, if something is still useable, than there’s no way you are going to get me to give it up! Well, I decided it was finally time to do some cleanup. I ended up loading two bags of stuff to take to Goodwill, and unfortunately, throwing some things away that just couldn’t be salvaged. One of those things were my beloved Tom’s Shoes. I have had this particular pair of shoes for almost five years. Beautiful olive green plaid canvas shoes that were the most comfortable things I have ever owned. Even recently, I slide them on to go to the market or wherever, regardless of the holes in them and the large holes in the soles. Alas, all good things must come to an end. But, on the bright side, this just means that I can get a new pair now!! I absolutely love supporting this company, and if you haven’t heard of them, I definitely think you should all take a look at what they have to offer. Most of their shoes are vegan, but not 100% of them, but if you go on their website, it’s easy to navigate directly to their vegan shoes. The best part about these shoes? Well, for every pair of shoes you buy, the company donates a pair to a child in need. Even in an economy like this, there is a company that is still totally about helping save the world, and not just about the bottom line. Some people may think that spending $50 on a pair of fabric slip-on shoes is a lot, but when you think about it, you’re actually buying two pairs of shoes! And seriously, these shoes are super cute, ultra comfy, and they last forever! I honestly wore mine at least 4-5 times a week, basically any time I wasn’t working, these were the shoes I wore! You definitely get your money’s worth from these shoes, and at the same time, you are helping a child in need! Plus, no animals are harmed in the making of these shoes, and some are even made out of recycled items like tires and plastic bottles and such! The company ensures that human rights standards are constantly adhered to in their factories, and they don’t pay their workers crap wages either. Eco-friendly, animal-friendly, people-friendly…what is not to love about this company?!
